Compact & Portable Manual Hydraulic Pumps

Essentially a pump that converts mechanical power into hydraulic energy (i.e. flow/pressure), hydraulic pumps are used in a wide range of industrial applications. Most of our products (except the self-contained models) require a 700-bar hydraulic pump to operate it.

Royal Technic supplies a variety of manual hydraulic pumps in different sizes and configurations to suit varying purposes. Our range spans foot and hand operated options, as well as ultra-high pressure and high flow models. All products are manufactured with worker safety in mind, whilst also aiming to minimise user fatigue.

Why choose a manual pump?

They are the ideal solution for operations where fully independent, portable hydraulic power is required. Designed with portability in mind, they are compact and relatively lightweight for easy moving. The biggest advantage of a manual pump over alternatives is that you do not have to rely on any other power source to be able to operate it.

How do they work?

By generating hydraulic power in the form of flow and pressure, they are able to drive a cylinder or tool connected through a hose system. During operation, they essentially create a vacuum at the inlet; this forces liquid from the reservoir into the inlet line of the pump. The mechanical action then delivers this liquid to the pump outlet, forcing it into the hydraulic system. The outlet is fitted with a non-return valve, thus as more and more liquid is delivered into the system, pressure is built. For added safety, all of Hi-Force’s pumps also incorporate a factory set safety relief valve as standard. This ensures that the pump stops pressurising at the maximum pressure that it has been rated for.

We also stock electric and air driven hydraulic pumps

In addition to manual pumps, we also stock a wide range of other pumps – such as air driven, electric, petrol and hydraulic split flow pumps. These machines vary in terms of size and flow rate; our electric models are better suited to situations where larger volumes of liquid need shifting, however where electric power is not able to be used safely, our air driven options are best suited for the job.

No matter what type you’re looking for – whether it’s a compact manual model or an electric-driven hydraulic split flow pump – you are sure to find what you’re looking for here at Royal Technic.

We are the experts when it comes to all things related to hydraulic tools, and therefore stock a wide range of other products as well such as hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic flange spreaders, hydraulic pullers, nut splitters and cable cutting tools.
